Christmas

It’s been a while since I posted, so here we go.

Christmas was OK, I enjoyed some much needed time off, but it’s still not the same as way back when. I think it’s because there are no children left in the family–I know it’s not supposed to be about gifts and stuff, but I think it would just be different with a few kids around.

As for my own gifts, received a few things relating to my golf and poker interests, and a couple of DVDs in addition to some new clothes.

As for movies, Christmas was almost too busy to see any, but I did manage to catch The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou the other night. It turned out to be a pretty good move, although a little odd. I’ll recommend it to anyone looking for a funny movie, especially for something non-traditional.
