Dave Matthews Band at Shoreline

Posted September 10th, 2006 in California, Music

Last night, I (finally) saw Dave Matthews Band live in concert. On a scale from one to awesome, it was totally awesome. No photos though, as the Shoreline people wouldn’t let me bring mine in.

They played for almost three hours, and it was still too short. No number of live recordings or concert DVDs can prepare you for the actual experience of seeing these guys in top form. My only regret is that I didn’t get tickets for the previous night’s show and went twice.

As for describing the experience on here, I don’t think I’m able… there’s just so much to say.

Update: Just to clarify, this post was written in 2006… I saw the show in 2006.

    Well then.
You now have to catch up to my record of seeing them twice. Which you’ll likely do and surpass next month.

    Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.

Geoff, I was at the Shoreline concert as well. I was very moved. Your right no words can describe the experience. I am trying to find the name of a song he played. I can’t recall much other than it was very emotional, He SCREAMED several time twords the end. I don’t think I have ever heard it before. if you can help I would be very appreciative.
