Photo of the Week #18

Sunday, February 25th, 2007

This week’s photo is the end of a game of Hive. I picked up the game this week after playing it online for a while. It’s a nice quick game, where you place your pieces and move them according to the rules for each type. The goal is to completely surround the opponent’s queen bee, as the black player as done in the photo.

Photo of the Week #15

Sunday, February 4th, 2007

This week’s photo is of the end of a game of Carassonne I played tonight. I played the Hunters & Gatherers spin-off game a few times at Brian & Lori’s before, and when I wanted to pick up a board game to play it came to mind. I bought the game a little while ago, and have also gotten most of the expansions for it–everything except for Princess & Dragon and Die Katharer (which […]

So Many Things

Sunday, April 23rd, 2006

Once again, I haven’t posted in a while. My targeted average of one post per week is falling apart at the seams… oh well, maybe I’ll get it back up.

This weekend, […]

Halo

Sunday, August 28th, 2005

Adding the Communicator can really make the experience good, you can talk to the other players to suggest the game type/rules, and you can talk in game (to direct teammates, or taunt opponents). There’s a pretty big Halo 2 […]

XLink Kai and SLUG

Sunday, February 6th, 2005

Wow, it’s been almost a month again with no post. (This was brought to my attention over the weekend when I was told that upon checking my site, they get a picture of a Christmas tree) Maybe I should’ve made a New Year’s resolution to update my site more often… Oh well, too late… Maybe next year. :)
Well, I’ve been pretty busy. I’ve been playing poker 2 nights a week (it’s not a gambling problem until […]

XBox, Poker, Movies, and Personalities

Friday, December 17th, 2004

I was told a while ago that I haven’t posted here in quite some time. I investigated the matter and it turns out that it was true. :) So I decided to post here and just say what’s been happening for that past month.

Well, for starters, I bought an XBox. I’ve been playing a few games on there, mostly ones that I can pick up and play for 30 minutes or so and walk away–with the […]
